Our featured item today is this very fine example of a 1915 Trinity College of Music, London, Local Award, 9kt Gold Medal for Piano Forte. Awarded and beautifully inscribed to Miss E.E. Dunn for Prep Pianoforte in Sept 1915, this piece is 32mm in diameter, weighing11.62 grams with minor contact marks.
Trinity College London was founded as the external examinations board of Trinity College of Music in 1872, and began offering exams in music to external students in 1877. In 1904, Trinity College London changed its name to Trinity College of Music London.
