1936 Canadian Silver Dollar

· Silver Dollar,Voyageur Design,Canadian Currency,Silver,King George V

This week I would like to highlight this stunning 1936 Canadian silver dollar that is available for sale on our online shop. This 1936 Canadian silver dollar is a very lustrous example with no wear, only minor bag (contact) marks and a few hints of minor toning.

The Canadian silver dollar was first issued by the Royal Canadian Mint in 1935 to commemorate King George V's Silver Jubilee. The coin's reverse is designed by Emanuel Hahn. The voyageur design was used on the dollar until 1986. It was then replaced in 1987 with the Canadian dollar affectionately known as the loonie
